Volunteer With Us

SaveEnergy is owned by the community, and we benefit from fantastic support from local volunteers including Draughtbusters who provide free practical support and advice to help people in cold homes to feel warmer, reduce their energy costs and save carbon.

We are always keen to hear from people who would like to join our team of volunteers. We offer flexible hours, free energy advice training and the opportunity to really make a difference as part of a small team of committed local people. In particular we are seeking:

We are also seeking an additional non-executive director to expand our board, challenge our thinking and increase our diversity and range of experience. This is a voluntary role (role description to follow).

If you are interested in any of the above volunteering roles, please contact Kit Evans [email protected] for an initial discussion.

Work For Us

We’re creating new jobs, increasing green skills and expanding opportunities for more local people. We offer free energy advice training for all our roles and our business is expanding quickly as demand increases.

Currently, we are recruiting:
“An experienced trades person to deliver practical energy saving measures for homeowners: we are seeking someone who can work closely with our customers to provide home insulation, gap-filling and other simple energy saving improvements around the home.”

If you are interested in this role and believe you have the skills and experience to help homeowners then please contact Kit Evans [email protected] for an initial discussion.

Partnerships

We’re keen to work with local businesses and third sector partners, bringing our services to more communities more quickly.

If you would like to know more about how we could work together to help local people start their retrofit journey, to prepare homeowners for low carbon solutions or to help people out of fuel poverty then contact our general manager Kit Evans to arrange a chat via email at [email protected].
